New York Real Estate Standard Operating Procedures
All agents under Mark Mallek LREB and at Brooklyn Consulate LLC are required by State Law to uniformly apply the Standard Operating Procedure when qualifying Buyers/Renters.
Mark Mallek and Brooklyn Consulate LLC’s Standard Operating Procedure Pursuant to Real Property Law §442-H is as follows:
• There is no general requirement to provide photo identification in order
to work with Mark Mallek or Brooklyn Consulate LLC. Individual property owners, certain sponsor/developer-clients or managing agents, or certain listing brokers may require photo identification prior to a showing or to work with them, and we will communicate this information to buyers or renters when such a situation arises.
• An exclusive buyer representation agreement is not required to work with
Mark Mallek and Brooklyn Consulate LLC however,
a prospective buyer and agent may agree to utilize an exclusive buyer representation agreement
• A pre-approval for a mortgage loan is not required to work with Mark Mallek or Brooklyn Consulate LLC, however, individual property owners, certain sponsor/developer-clients, or certain listing brokers may require one – and if so, we will communicate such fact to buyers when such a situation arises.
